I ran across this book in The New York Times Book Review yesterday and I wanted to share it with our readers. The book is entitled The Lagoon: How Aristotle Invented Science by Armand Marie Leroi. To show you how much I really know about Aristotle is to tell you something about his philosophy, but this book delves into his interest in biology.

The author gives us a study into the origins of science as well as takes the reader to where this all began for Aristotle and his immense passion for animals. He shows the reader, Aristotle’s wrong impressions as well as his guesses, which I believe to be of more interest than what he got right. This looks to be a top notch book if you have any interest in biology and the origins of science. I will be giving this a good inspectional reading!!!
