I purchased Kafka: The Years Of Insight and I must say that other than quotes I have read from Kafka that is all I know about the man. Thus far, I am to page 69 and the author has done a great job in those amount of pages to explain Kafka’s personality and quirks. This book is about the last eight years of his life and looks to be researched extensively. I love this quote from the beginning of Chapter One:
“Strange what a feeling of solitude there is in failure.
Karl Capek, Povetron
